The Kentucky BioAlliance was created as a gateway for increased collaboration and knowledge exchange among bioscience industry leaders, entrepreneurs, investors, and institutions across the Commonwealth. The organization aims to:

• Facilitate interactions among state institutions and private sector companies
• Serve as a partner between federal, state, and regional interests
• Act as a central resource for bioscience information and resources
• Promote the combined strengths of the Commonwealth on the national and international levels
  

It is the goal of the Kentucky BioAlliance to promote commercialization, investment, and job creation in bioscience and implement programs and promote policies that advance the sector.

The Kentucky BioAlliance serves as Kentucky's affiliate to the Biotechnology Industry Organization ("BIO").
